2006 Kay Panabaker got her own Disney Channel original movie. The movie started filming in july and was named "Read it and Weep" a movie based on the bestselling book How My Private Personal Journal Became a Best Seller".
The movie is based on an ordinary high school girl called Jamie Bartlet who keeps a private personal journal at her house where she writes mean and sometimes very odd things about every person at her high school.
She also writes about her self being a popular and beautiful girl named Isabella (IS for short) played by Kays older sister Danielle Panbaker. She has an older brother who doesnt talk to her at school because he's way to popular and a mother and father that own a italian pizza restaurant, Jamie also has three friends 1 boy and 2 girls.
The real plot of the movie hapens when Jamie accidently leaves her private journal on the classrom desk and her brother finds it and spreads it to the whole school.
No one in the school suspects that the story is based on what she thinks of everyone.
Somehow an author gets the book and makes Jamie famous and every one at school likes her as she becomes more famous. She becomes the most popular girl at school but as days pased it all goes to her head such as she wont hang out with her old friends anymore and she gets very stuck up. She soon realises what shes leaving behind and she tells the whole school the truth and they get very angry. She tells a heartwarming speech at the school ball and gets her friends back and unpopularity

In The fall of 2005 Kay Panabaker got role in the new disney channel original movie "Life is Ruff" along side 'Thats so Raven" Star Kyle Massey.
The plot of the new disney movie is about a 13 Year old boy called Kelvin Weiner who is a huge fan of some sort of 1950 comic series, he also has an asmatic friend ( played by Mitcheall Musso) who is big fan of the comic series as well.
Once Kelvin Weiner had all the comics exept for the first one his asmatic friend finds the book at a store but the only problem is that the book is $5,000 dollars.
Kay Panabaker plays the role of Amber a girl at their school who helps out at the citys animal shouter. Kelvin finds a poster at school about a dog contest and the reward is $5,000, just the money he needs for his comic book.
He goes to the animal shouter and finds a dog called Tyako which is the breed of a labrodor, in the end he gets the dog and competes in the race. If you want to hear the reast youll have to watch the movie yourself on disney Channel.

When Phil of the Future finished Kay Panabaker looked for bigger oportunitites on the big screen.

Kay Panabaker auditioned for a role in the t.v series drama "Summerland" after a few months they rang up her house and told her she got the part of the youngest daughter Nikki Wesley.

Summerland aired the big screen in 2004 as a movie and then aired the t.v in a television series as a 95 episode agrement.

The plot of the show is about a family of brothers and sisters who loose their mother and father in a car crash and have to live with their aunty at a beach side house in California.

Shes Debbie Berwick

As well as Kay Panabaker has worked on many movies and mainly casted on Summerland, she has also stared in Phil of the future as goody two shoes Debbie Berwick, which she co stared in.

Debbie Berwick is a 12 year old girl who is also Pim Diffys arch enemy but Debbie Doesnt know, she thinks Pims her best friend. Kay Panabaker has only stared in Phil of the Future for 9 episodes but has lightend up the t.v screen with great co staring as Debbie Berwick.

Kay Panabaker is an award-winning actress who, at the tender age of 15, is not only a veteran of television, stage, and film, but also holds a college degree!Kay was born in Texas, but started acting in Community Theater while living in Atlanta. Told that all the big opportunities were in Los Angeles, Kay was encouraged by her agent to give the big city a try. During a one week visit to test the waters, Kay won a leading role in a feature for which they'd been seeing all the LA and NY talent - both boys and girls - between the ages of 7 & 12. This early success encouraged her family, and though still living near Chicago, Kay began auditioning in LA for TV and film roles. After guest-starring roles in shows including ER, 7th Heaven, and Angel, in 2003 Kay was cast as Nikki Westerly on the drama Summerland, and that necessitated a move to sunny California. The show was popular with young teens and ran for 2 seasons, during which Kay was singled out for her performance in the show with a Young Artist Award for "Best Performance by a Leading Young Actress in a TV Series - Comedy or Drama".

Kay has since been seen on TV shows Medium, in last summer's Disney Channel Original Movie Life is Ruff, and will star in another DCOM this summer based on the novel How My Private, Personal Journal Became a Bestseller. She'll also be seen in the feature film Nancy Drew, playing George, who fans of the books will recognize as one of Nancy's best friends.

Currently between projects, Kay is focusing on her academics. Having recently finished her first 2 years of college, she's applied to UCLA for the fall term as a history major, and is taking a few history classes as prerequisites. Kay was inspired by an elementary school teacher who made learning exciting, and she wants to do the same for others, hoping to teach 4th or 5th grade once she gets her teaching degree.In between work and school, Kay finds time to be a regular kid, whose interests include arts and crafts (currently into beading) swimming, bowling, and dance. She also enjoys traveling, and recently finished her quest to visit all 50 states with a late summer visit to Alaska's Denali National Park.
